Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812
A2 Wireless Audio Engineer
War and Peace the dinner opera, should have been the tag line. With a runtime of over 3 hours, it was still faster than actually reading the book. The show was performed in a circus tent that was set up in the Meatpacking district of lower Manhattan. This alone proved challenging. Yet in the fall the production decided to make their unofficial Broadway debut by moving the tent to an empty lot on 46th street next to Times Square. The winter was cold but not as cold as Russia.
A few years later this production would return to Broadway as The Great Comet, starring my twin, Josh Groben.
