Space Cadets Radio presents The Pirates of the Outer Rim
It's been over a year since the Space Cadets mission was lost. As they stagger their way back to the fringes of civilization, Captain Alaborap resurfaces in the Outer Rim Territories to spark a pirate rebellion against the ISF military. On a mission to save an old friend, the Cadets find themselves in the infamous space pirate's crosshairs once again!
Season 2 of Space Cadets was my second chance to dive into a high seas sci-fi drama. With an SFX list that included a man slowly turning into a tesla coil, multiple spaceship battles, pirate sword fights, and a heap of clones; I had my job cut out for me. This show pushed me creatively to tell this story. I got into the weeds on synthesizers and spent weeks doing foly. It was all worth it in the end when.
I am very proud of this show. I put a lot of time and effort into building the world around this crazy cast of characters. My personality is certainly showcased in the design of this series.
