This series was my first deep dive into the world of theatrical podcasting. Our mission was to adapt a screenplay into a medium that let the listener’s imagination be the camera. It was a large undertaking for this one-man editing team and many hours were spent formatting the script, capturing the dialogue and SFX, and editing the mix. I learned so much along the way and the project was tremendously difficult to accomplish in my little spare time, but I am grateful for the struggle because it made me a better designer.
I used canned effects, foly, and software instruments to construct the world of this space oddity. This was the first project I used iZotope RX and with Gigabytes of audio needing touched up I became very intimate with the software. Today it has become one of my go-to tools in capturing theater on film.
